Hello! This is the homepage for my CIT273 coursework. I’ll be updating this page throughout the semester with projects, resources, and learning reflections.

Creating this webpage involved applying foundational web development skills learned in CIT273. The structure was built using semantic HTML5 elements like header, section, and footer to organize content clearly and accessibly. The page includes headings, paragraphs, images, and links to provide information about the course and its purpose. To enhance visual appeal and usability, an external CSS file named indexFormat.css was created and linked. This stylesheet uses a Jello Layout for a centered, responsive design and applies styling through element selectors (h1, p), a class (.highlight), and an ID (#main-header). These selectors help maintain consistent formatting and improve readability. The design choices—such as color schemes, spacing, and typography—were made to reflect professionalism and clarity. This homepage will serve as a dynamic portfolio, evolving throughout the semester to showcase projects, reflections, and technical growth in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It’s a living document of learning and creativity.
