What are Dragons?

Dragons are mythological creatures often found within fantasy stories. They are large, scaly reptiles often known for breathing fire and hoarding various collections of items. Most often, this consists of gold and other various valuables.

Depending on the culture, dragons can be seen in various forms. In western cultures, they tend to be large quadruped creatures with wings and a tail. In eastern cultures, especially China, they are seen as long serpents.

Western dragons, such as from Dungeons & Dragons, depict dragons as being large, fierce, and quadruped with a body similar to that of a dinosaur.
Eastern dragons, like this one found on a former flag of china. Tend to have a longer, serpant-like body. And are often represented as being capable of flight through levitation, despite not having any wings.
