Explore Animal Habitats

Habitat

From jungles to deserts, learn how animals adapt to their environments.

Types of Habitats

  • Forest: Home to animals like bears, deer, and owls. Forests have lots of trees and shade.
  • Desert: Very dry and hot. Animals like camels, lizards, and snakes live here.
  • Ocean: Covers most of Earth. Fish, whales, and dolphins swim in salty water.
  • Grassland: Wide open spaces with few trees. Lions, zebras, and elephants roam here.
  • Arctic: Cold and icy. Polar bears, seals, and snowy owls live in this habitat.

Why Habitats Matter

Every animal needs the right habitat to survive. If a habitat changes too much, animals may have to move or could be in danger. That’s why protecting habitats is important for keeping nature healthy.

Fun Fact
