Who am I?

My name is Dalton Grimes and I'm a senior IT student planning to graduate in May 2024. This website is for my Senior Capstone project, and this is the website for my sports betting model. It is still a work in progress and this site will include many things realted to the model such as definitions, explanations, and links that take you to the model and the sources where the stats are taken from.

This project was inspired by myself, as I have a strong interest in sports and I enjoy watching sports and placing bets on games I'm interested in. Basketball, especially the NBA are very reliant on statistics both in the playing of the game as well as predicting the game. Basketball is my favorite sport to watch, hence why I chose it for modeling. It also has many different metrics compared to other sports, allowing for better opportunities to predict outcomes of games.
