Every animal lives in a special place called a habitat. A habitat gives animals food, water, shelter, and space to live!

Types of Habitats

Forest — Home to deer, bears, owls, and foxes. Forests have lots of trees and plants.

Ocean — Home to fish, dolphins, sharks, and whales. The ocean covers most of Earth!

Desert — Home to camels, lizards, and snakes. Deserts are very hot and dry.

Arctic — Home to polar bears, penguins, and seals. Very cold with lots of ice and snow.

Rainforest — Home to monkeys, toucans, and jaguars. Very warm and gets lots of rain.
